In 1968, Giorgio Polato’s expertise and craftsmanship culminated in the founding of the company’s first historic facility in Fiesso d’Artico on the Brenta Riviera, which has always been the beating heart of footwear sporting the Made in Italy label.

Steady growth and the development of more advanced manufacturing processes prompted a full-scale overhaul in the year 2000. Under the direction of the young Luciano Polato, the company was modernized, renamed DEL BRENTA srl and moved to new premises in Perarolo (Vigonza) on the outskirts of Padua.

Service excellence and ongoing investment into the latest cutting-edge technologies allowed DEL BRENTA to make a name for itself and, year by year, strengthen its reputation as key partner to international footwear labels and young emerging designers.

In 2015, as part of its continuous development plan, the company left its old site behind to create a new R&D and manufacturing facility with over 3500 sq. metres of floorspace, home to more than 50 employees.

The new site is situated at no. 34 Via Venezia in Perarolo in the province of Vigonza, on the main road linking Padua and Venice, a stone’s throw from its previous home.
